Minecraft portfolio
Hi, I'm Allan (Mistter_) – a Minecraft gameplay developer from Brazil specializing in Bedrock scripting. I focus on creating addons and educational projects for Minecraft Education, designing engaging, technically polished gameplay systems and experiences.I'm active in the Minecraft community since 2012, I started as a builder before transitioning to Java development and later to Bedrock. Over the years, I’ve contributed to major projects with teams like Piki Studios, Block Studios, and Square Dreams, honing expertise in Minecraft Bedrock development.
Skills
I specialize in Minecraft Bedrock scripting using JavaScript and TypeScript to build scalable, immersive gameplay systems.I have experience creating add-ons and maps, including world generation, custom entities, blocks, items, attachables, animations, particles, render controllers, and state controllers, always ensuring systems are optimized, clean, modular, and maintainable. While UI design is not my primary focus, I have a working understanding of Minecraft’s UI systems and can implement and adjust basic interfaces when needed.
Others
Outside Minecraft, I have experience with Java, C#, MongoDB, and MySQL, supporting my game development workflow with clean and efficient code. I’m currently building a game engine in C# as a personal learning project, exploring complex systems like Perlin noise as a terrain generation and custom rendering pipelines.
Availability
I’m available full-time with flexible hours (GMT -3) for Minecraft Bedrock gameplay development, scripting, and advanced system design.

Aotearoa New Zealand DLC
I had the opportunity to contribute to the Aotearoa New Zealand DLC, the first-ever destination DLC for Bedrock, created in partnership with Tourism New Zealand and Warner Bros to celebrate the upcoming Minecraft Movie. This free DLC allows players to explore and experience the breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand and its rich Māori culture within Minecraft, bringing the country’s natural wonders to life in-game.In this project, I focused on gameplay systems, scripting, and technical implementation, ensuring an engaging and polished player experience while preserving the cultural and environmental essence of New Zealand. I contributed to the development of boat and car gameplay mechanics, implemented custom entities, custom camera cutscenes, and supported the integration of other core gameplay systems.

Techna Add-On
I worked on Techna, an add-on for Bedrock that brings a fully realized technology progression system into the game.In this project, players can harness Technadium, a new resource that fuels generators, pipes, cables, poles, and machines to build their own expansive factories and automate resource processing and farming within Minecraft. My role focused on gameplay scripting, system design, and technical integration, ensuring that each machine, system, and mechanic was seamless, engaging for Bedrock players looking to expand their worlds with new technology.

HORROR: THE ESCAPE
I contributed to a classic horror map for Bedrock in collaboration with Square Dreams, designed to deliver an extremely immersive and terrifying gameplay experience. In this map, players must explore a dark forest, find all the keys, and escape before the monster finds them, experiencing jump scares, hair-raising sound effects, and realistic VFX that heighten the tension throughout the game.My role included gameplay and system implementation, ensuring mechanics like the monster’s behavior, key collection, and scare sequences were smooth, engaging, and effectively terrifying while optimized for the Bedrock platform.
